SHAY' na, and I am a painter and educator. I have done alot of portrait work, but now focus on murals for public spaces, and my own paintings and drawings based on people and the world around me. I live and work in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This it my most recent piece, painted in July 2009.. It's a mural based on my experience of visiting a school in the Jangwani slum in Nairobi. It costs the school $4 per child per month to give them a BIG hot lunch... less than the price of one skinny iced latte from Costa... I'll write more about this and develop this idea in the next few days.
